As I write this, I am sick with the seasonal illness that seems to have stricken half the AFA since the last issue went out. That said, I will keep things brief. As the 31st year of the AFA dawns, there are powerful currents moving within the Well of Urðr. These currents come in the form of destinies aligning. As you read this, these currents are moving us towards ever greater understanding and revealing ancient wisdom. Ásatrú lives within us and within our church. As we faithfully attend to the sacred Gift Cycle, as we lay deeds upon the altars of the Æsir, we are consistently blessed by our mighty Gods. Your Goðar are hard at work on a number of projects that I am eager to share with you in the coming months. Wherever this message finds you, whatever your circumstance, take the time to acknowledge the glory of our Æsir. Let the Æsir know of your devotion and welcome them into your heart, your home, and your life. Listen for the Æsir speak ..... and they have much to say.
